A popular and dynamic big band that has been running for the past 11 years, having evolved from a community project into the tight unit that presents itself today.
Playing a wide range of jazz standards and more modern big band arrangements, including fantastic vocals from Ruth Lambert, we really do offer something for everyone!
Our open rehearsals at the New Crown in South Shields (first Tuesday of the month, with FREE entry!) offer a fascinating insight into how a big band rehearse and prepare for upcoming performances.
